Hyatt Zilara, Rose Hall Hotel Review
The Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall , Jamaica is a beautiful relaxing adults-only escape in Montego Bay. Tucked along Jamaica’s northeastern shore, about 20 minutes from Sangster International. Set amidst white sandy beaches and blue Caribbean Sea, it has a warm inviting location. According to TripAdvisor Hyatt Zilara rose hall is #3 of 8 of the best places to stay in rose hall, with 4.5/5 stars out of 3,837 reviews and counting. I spent 3 days and two nights at this resort. Below is a detailed review of my overall experience.

PROS & THINGS I LIKE
It’s adults only! Lol
The hospitality from the staff was so personable, warm, and helpful. They remember your name, your drinks, pretty much everything.
Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall offers a variety of dining experiences ranging from elegant steakhouses to casual cafés, all included with your stay. Enjoy limitless food and beverages—including alcoholic drinks—at restaurants and food carts throughout the resort, as well as at neighboring Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall. Room service is also included and available 24 hours a day.
The Brazilian steakhouse is basically an all you can eat heaven for meat lovers. Sizzling skewers of grilled meats are served from “spetto corrido” swords by gauchos in the Brazilian tradition. Meats include linguiza sausages, picaña beef, and local meat and seafood selections. A buffet of bread, salad, cheese, and cold cuts accompanies your meal.
No restaurant reservation policy.
Not too crowded.
Property beautifully maintained.
Swim Up Rooms include exclusive, direct swim-up access to a private pool. Guests of the Butler Suites receive a cell phone at check-in, allowing for seamless contact with your own personal butler, who provides a variety of customized services.
CONS & THINGS TO KNOW
Up charged for way too many things. There’s an additional cost to rent the pool/beach cabanas, lobster dishes and for coconuts.
The rooms are decent, not great.
The night time entertainment could use a little spicing up.
Value for money: 7/10
Overall experience: 7.5/10
BEST TIME TO VISIT
Jamaica has good weather all year round. In that regard you can book your stay anytime throughout the year. However, there’s a difference in nightly rates whether you book in high or low season. Low season is cheaper and usually less crowded. Low season for hotels in Jamaica are usually from May - November.
HOW TO GET THERE
Coming from the Sangster International Airport: After passing through customs, simply visit the Hyatt Lounge, and airport agents will arrange travel to the hotel. Shuttle transfers rates are US $33 round trip. Also, you can take a local taxi but I would suggest going through the Hyatt Lounge personnel.
Coming from Kingston: Enter the location on google. Once you follow the map and take the highway, its literally hard to get lost.
